You’ve been Diagnosed. Now what?
How we work together
Navigating the fast-moving healthcare industry and its ever-changing treatments can be a whirlwind. You will need time, knowledge, and support to become the best possible participant in your care. That’s where I come in. I’m here to listen, address your fears, and advocate for the plan that will best support you and your loved ones.
I’ve been the chemo nurse, the nurse practitioner provider, part of a multi-disciplinary cancer team, and a cancer patient myself. This is my place of mastery. Because I understand all of these roles, I am uniquely equipped to help you navigate the medical system and complementary methods of care.
My professional training draws from both conventional western medicine and integrative medicine, and my personal cancer journey has helped me grow and learn in ways I could not have predicted. I take a whole-person approach to healing, addressing all levels of mind, body, and spirit.
Consultations will address your particular needs, including:
Knowledge
Developing a clear understanding of your diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment plan; expected impacts on your health and well-being; and how to mitigate side effects.
Advocacy
Helping you maximize limited time with your care team members, ask good questions, know when to seek a second opinion, and make informed decisions about your care.
Guidance
Sifting through the multitude of information about traditional and alternative therapies to create a plan that’s safe, and right for you.
Wellness Support
Using integrative methods such as diet, exercise, and sleep to minimize side effects of treatment, as well as non-medical therapies that can alleviate feelings of anxiety, fear, and depression

Things to know
Consultations are available for adults, age 18 or older, in the state of California, who have a diagnosis of cancer. I also help people with family or hereditary risk factors, including those who have known genetic mutations putting them at an increased risk for certain cancers.
Consultations can take place via phone or video, or in-person within the Bay Area.
Please note: I offer guidance, advocacy, and support at every stage of your cancer journey. I do not offer second opinions, cancer management, or alternative plans to conventional treatment recommendations.
